The fact remains that web applications are still applications that have to be well thought of whatever the angle you are looking at it. Defining web applications in more detail and in context, they are a collection of logically connected web pages that are managed and handled as a single entity. A web site may contain one or many web applications as a result of their contracts with different providers on the market whose services or offers they may be supporting.
