Summarizing everything up, the difference in a web application in a single application may be so little that taking a step back and looking at it from a different perspective will give you the idea that the idea of web apps is to have a modular program that has several modules that may or may not all be needed by a certain application. Web apps just have more interactive aspects and parts such as GUI’s and visual tools that differentiates them most from traditional programs.
